Mark’s Camp is Lalibela’s family-friendly lodge, offering a relaxed Pan-African style and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. With 8 stone and thatch chalets, Mark’s Camp accommodates up to 18 adults and 8 children, making it the ideal choice for families and groups seeking an unforgettable safari experience.
Each comfortably furnished chalet features an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, and ceiling fans to ensure comfort during warm summer nights. All chalets open onto private viewing decks, allowing guests to enjoy the breathtaking surroundings from the comfort of their rooms.
Mark’s Camp offers three room types:
- 4 Standard chalets that sleep 2 adults,
- 3 Family chalets that sleep 2 adults and 2 children under 12,
- 1 Family suite featuring 2 en-suite rooms and a lounge area, accommodating up to 6 guests.
An abundance of birdlife can be enjoyed from the chalets, pool decks, or central lounge area. With two swimming pools and a large waterhole in front of the lodge, guests can often spot antelope, giraffe, elephant, and even predators visiting the waterhole.
Dining at Mark’s Camp is a delightful experience, with an outdoor dining boma for fireside dinners and open-air brunches, as well as a gracious indoor dining area for more intimate meals.
